Do You Have A Ministry?
The Word of God says You Do!
You were created for ministry - Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
You were saved for ministry - II Timothy 1:9 "So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us to a holy life-not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace."
You were called into ministry - I Peter 2:9-10 "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy."
You were gifted for ministry - I Peter 4:10 "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms."
You were authorized for ministry - Matthew 28:18-20 "Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'"
You were commanded to minister - Matthew 20:26-28 "Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27and whoever wants to be first must be your slave -28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
You are to be prepared for ministry - Ephesians 4:11-13 "It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."
You are needed for ministry - I Corinthians 12:27 "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."
You are accountable for and will be rewarded for ministry - Colossians 3:23-24 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
