Getting to know the character and nature of God, His Son Jesus and His Holy Spirit, dramatically changes and improves the quality of our lives.

This knowledge builds our faith, strengthens us, heals us, nurtures us and gives us peace. The Father is the Creator Resource, Jesus is the Access to God the Father and the Holy Spirit is the Manifestation of God. Although they have separate personalities, they are One, the Triune God. (I John 5:7).

All the words in the Bible are God breathed, in that God inspired certain men to write down His Words. God was in total control of this writing (II Timothy 3:16 -17). For that reason we can believe every word written in the Bible. Our loving, compassionate, kind and generous heavenly Father desires to bless us through knowledge and understanding of His Word. Please grasp the reality of the following prayer by John Osteen:

Ephesians 6 and The Foundation of Truth Presented in Scripture

• I put on TRUTH through the Word of God which will defend me from ERROR.
  
  
• I put on the BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS which brings me into right relationship with God providing a more intimate relationship with Him. The breastplate guards my heart and keeps me from becoming offended.
  
  
•  I put on the Gospel of PEACE, the good news of peace. The Father orders my steps in reconciliation and harmonious relationships with him, myself and all others. I will only walk in places where God will go.
  
  
• I put on the helmet of SALVATION which delivers me from danger and apprehension.
  
  
• I put on the SWORD of the SPIRIT, which is the Word of God. I put on the mind of Christ and only hear what God says, rejecting DISCOURAGEMENT.
  
  
• I put on the PRAYER of praise and thanksgiving to avoid resentment. I confess my sins of__ ?_(possibly resentment / bitterness / unforgiveness, gossip, love of money, lies, worry, fear and forgetfulness to abide in You. etc.) I pray for others.
  
  
• I put on the SHIELD of FAITH, which is information from God for me to act upon. I choose to trust in God refusing any evil thought that comes my way. I refuse to fret or worry. I believe that God fights my battles and I choose to rest under the protective shadow of His wing.

Monday

(ELOHIM-CREATOR - Genesis 1:1) - Oh Lord, I bless Your Name as the Source of all things, for You are He who calls everything into being. You are vibrant life flowing through all creatures and creation and Who calls forth all existence out of nothingness. You are the Great and Mighty who gives with unlimited and unrestricted giving in boundless outpouring of Your divine desire to give. With this boundless outpouring, You also withdraw or regulate and shield the full and unbearable intensity of Your awesome power and energy so that I can live and exist, protected from the full intensity of Your power and presence. You are both distant and beyond the universe in order to create it and within the universe and world in order to sustain it. There is no place empty or void of You. You are a sun and shield Who gives me the intensity of Your presence in self-restraint as a protective shield so that my life is protected. You manifest Your love in the boundless outpouring of giving. You are the revealed and concealed as One. You are my kind and loving Father.

Tuesday:

(EL ELVON-MOST HIGH/SUSTAINER Genesis 14:20) - You are the All-Mighty Power who dominates all might and power. There is no limit set on Your power. You are Almighty absolute power above and beyond any and all things. You are the Highest of the high, Creator and possessor of heaven and earth. All of creation and cosmic order belongs to You and is dependent on Your will to sustain it. Every hour You make provision for all who come into the world according to their need and Your sovereignty. In Your grace You satisfy all creatures, not just the good and righteous alone, but also the wicked and idolaters. Nothing is beyond Your power and control. You are my provider, my kind and tender loving Father

• I will not try to fight my battles personally, because the Lord has promised that if I set or prepare myself and stand still, I will see the salvation (deliverance) of the Lord, that He will fight for me. (II Chronicles 20:17)
  
  
• I will sanctify the Lord by only giving reverence to the Lord and not fearing people or bad circumstances. (Isaiah 8:11-13)
  
  
• I am encouraged because of the Lord’s three-fold promise to: strengthen me, help me, and to uphold me in every crisis. (Isaiah 41:10)
  
  
• I am confident in my God because He has redeemed me, called me by my name, and said that because I believe I am His own. (Isaiah 43:1)

Wednesday:

(EL ROI-THE GOD WHO SEES - Genesis 16:13) - You are the God of seeing, the all-seeing God. When you see me You show your compassion and concern and extend Your protection and I experience Your manifestation and therefore see You. Nothing is beyond Your vision or too small for You to see. Your kindness and love soothes my heart, calms my mind and strengthens my human frailties.

• Jesus said, fear not, only believe, and you shall be made whole (Luke 8:50).
  
  
• I am encouraged because it is my Heavenly Father’s good pleasure to give me the benefits of His kingdom. (Luke 12:32) .
  
  
• Like Paul, I believe the Lord has given safety and blessing to all who are with me. (Acts 27:23,24).
  
  
• Because I trust in the Lord, I am far from oppression and fear is not able to come near me. (Isaiah 54:14).
  
  
• Because I live according to the Lord’s will, I am delivered from the evils of this present world. (Galatians 1:4).
  
  
• Because this day I choose to live according to God’s Law, no evil will befall me neither shall any plague come near my dwelling. He has given His angels charge over me and they will keep me in all my ways. (Psalm 91:10, 11; Proverbs 12:28).
  
  
• I am both happy and blessed in my works because I am a doer of God’s Word. (James 1:22).
  
  
• Because I am trusting Christ as my redeemer (Messiah), Christ has redeemed me from the curse of sickness, poverty, and allthe ills which fall on those who violate God’s Word. (Galatians 3:13).
  
  
•  I take the shield of faith, and I quench every fiery dart that the wicked one brings against me. (Ephesians 6:16) .
  
  
• Justice and right make me strong. I am far from oppression, and fear does not come near me. (Isaiah 54:14).
  
  
• I bless the Lord with all that is within me never forgetting His grace and forgiveness, and that He heals all my diseases. (Psalm 103:1-3).

Thursday:

(EL SHADDAI-ALL SUFFICIENT - Genesis 17:1) - You are the Almighty Power Who is all sufficient. You are the nurturing provider who satisfies all my needs with all sufficiency as a mother’s breast nurtures and satisfies her child. You are not only nurturing and sufficient but also a powerful protector as when a parent protects their young. As One, you are both gentle and nurturing, yet powerful and mighty to keep or guard, meaning there is an outside threat from which You will protect me. You keep me within the parameters of Your protection and blessing. You are so kind and loving to me.

• I will fear no evil because the Lord is with me and comforts me with His Word and His Spirit. (Psalm 23:4)
  
  
• I am assured that my children are taught of the Lord and will continue to have great peace and prosperity. (Isaiah 54:13)
  
  
• Because I submit myself to the Word of the Lord, the devil flees from me when I resist him in the name of Jesus of Nazareth . (James 4:7)
  
  
• I am able to overcome the problems of this world because of the blood of the Lamb of God and the word of my testimony. (Revelation 12:11)
  
  
• Because I delight myself in the Law of God, it produces in me godly desires, allowing the Lord to continually fulfill the desires of my heart. (Psalm 37:4).
  
  
• Because I am a cheerful giver, in return God will cause men to give unto me good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. (Luke 6:38).
  
  
• Although things may not always go as I prefer, because I serve Him faithfully, God will make sure there is no lack in my life and all my needs will be supplied according to His source through Jesus Christ. (Phil 4:19).
  
  
• The Lord has pleasure in the prosperity of His servants and because I am faithful to obey Him, all sixty promises of Abraham are mine. (Psalm 35:27; Galatians 3:14).
  
  
• Because I diligently study God’s Word, the Spirit of Truth abides in me and teaches me all the principles of God and guides me in all the ways of truth. I ask God for wisdom and He gives it to me generously. (John 16:13: James 1:5).
  
  
• Today I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not to my own opinion. I ask Him for discernment to go along with wisdom. (Proverbs 3:5).

Friday:

(ADONAI OR JEHOVAH-MASTER/THRESHOLD - Genesis 15:1-2) - You are the supreme authority and Master of all Your creation. You are the Master Craftsman of all that has come into existence and by Your grace and mercy You continually create in me to mold, refine, guide, comfort and build me until which time all your promises and covenants have been fulfilled. As I risk stretching myself past my prior limits and expand my willingness to receive Your embrace, I am ushered into the “threshold” of my capacity for intimacy with You. As I respond in receptive submission to You as Master, the physical is affected by the spiritual and the heavenly filters down to the earthly. You are the “threshold”, “the way” to Your presence that dwells with me.Your limitless kindness and love encompasses me bringing me into your perfect peace and rest.

• I am confident the Lord will fulfill His purpose for me and whatever I do the Lord will perfect all things which concern me. (Psalm 138:8).
  
  
• Because I study and obey God’s Word, I know His voice and the voice of a stranger I will not follow. I resist negative thoughts Satan attempts to place in my mind. (John 10:4,5).
  
  
• Because the peace of God keeps my mind and heart spiritually secure, I will constantly dwell on the things which cause peace: such as giving a good and positive report, honesty, purity, truth and loveliness...these produce praise. (Philippians 4:8).
  
  
• Today I have put on the mind of Christ through God’s Word and the wisdom of Christ has formed me into a new creation without my old habits. (I Corinthians 2:16; II Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:10).
  
  
• By being obedient to God’s Laws, I have put off my old nature and put on the new nature of imitating Christ taking on the very image of God. (Colossians 3:9-11).
  
  
• Today my mind is renewed in the Word of God and my understanding is being enlightened, as the eyes of my heart are enlightened, so that I am not conformed or held in bondage to this present world. (Ephesians 1:17,18, Romans 12:2).
  
  
• Each day I am increasing in the knowledge of God and strengthened with all might according to His glorious power. (Colossians 1:10,11).
  
  
• As I trust God, Christ strengthens and empowers me so that I will be able to do all the things that He requires of me. (Philippians 4:13).
  
  
• Because of my obedience to God’s Word, I am made to rejoice and this joy of the Lord gives me strength which causes me to excel in life. (Nehemiah 8:10).

Saturday:

(JEHOVAH JIREH-PROVIDER - GENESIS 22:14) - Because You are Adonai/Jehovah you provide for my every need. You will “see to it” that I have what I need in every area of my life according to Your perception of my needs. (JEHOVAH RAPHA-HEALER - II Kings 20:5) Because You are the Most High God, You heal, make fresh, purify, repair and take care of me as a Physician. You heal every area of need in my life. Basking in your love and compassion heals me.

• Today I will not let any corrupt communication proceed out of my mouth and only speak those things which edify and minister positively and gracefully to the hearer so that I will not grieve the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:29,30).
  
  
• I will only speak the truth as I have been taught in the Word of God, with love, so that I will mature and follow the lifestyle of Jesus the Christ in all things. (Ephesians 4:15 ).
  
  
• Because I have trusted Jesus the Messiah for salvation, I have been given eternal life and I shall never perish and no man shall be able to cause me to be removed from His protection. (John 10:28,29).
  
  
• Today I will let the peace of God rule in my heart, and I refuse to worry about anything. Since the peace of God keeps my mind and heart spiritually secure, I will dwell on things that cause peace...things that are honest, pure, lovely, commendable, and the giving of a good and positive report. (Colossians 3:15; Philippians 4:7-8).
  
  
• I refuse to stop reviewing the Word of God daily because it constantly increases my life and causes healing to all my flesh. (Proverbs 4:21,22)
• Today I am blessed and happy because I fear (reverential fear) the Lord and delight greatly in His commandments. (Psalm 112:1).
  
  
• Because I believe and confess that good things will happen, God will even cause good to come from bad circumstances based on Jesus’ words If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. (Mark 9:23 )
  
  
• I will be careful not to listen to that which is not giving praise to God or man because I am commanded to take heed what I hear. (Mark 4:24 )
• As I continually read and speak the Word of God, my faith will increase until I live in an atmosphere of the spirit of faith. (Romans 10:17; II Corinthians 4:13).

Sunday:

(JEHOVAH NISSI-BANNER - Exodus 17:15-16) - You are the incomparable glory, passionate justice and monumental strength Who is always victorious over the enemy. You hold a banner of victory over me and You create miracles to bring victory over the enemy. (JEHOVAH MEDADDISHKEM-SANCTIFIER - Ezekiel 37:27-28) You are the One Who sanctifies me and makes me holy as You are holy, and One Who sets me apart by my will lining up with Your will. You gently wrap me in your loving arms while reshaping my character into Your likeness. (JEHOVAH SHALOM-PEACE - Judges 6:23 -24) You are the only One who brings wholeness, completeness, fulfillment and perfection into my life and therefore I am able to express the contentment I experience as inner peace that only You can bring.

• Today when I pray, I will forgive all that come to my mind, so that my Father can forgive me. When I forgive, this brings blessings into my life. If I refuse to forgive this brings curses into my life. I may need to forgive 70 x 7 until all feelings of resentment are gone and until I can pray a blessing over that person. (Mark 11:25 ).
  
  
• When I pray I will not only wish things to happen but begin to say that I believe they are already starting to happen because God moves according to what I say as well as what I do and believe. (Mark 11:23 ).
  
  
• The Word of God is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. (Psalms 119:105).
  
  
• I ask You, Lord to give me a clean heart so I can speak good things because out of the abundance of my heart my mouth speaks. (Matthew 12:34).
  
  
• Today I thank the Lord for His Word because the Word is God’s revealed will and the very nature of God. (John 1:1).

(JEHOVAH SABAOTH - LORD OF HOSTS - II Samuel 5:10, Psalm 103:21) - You, Lord are the only One that can meet my need when no other earthly or natural resource has the source to meet it. Only heavenly hosts at Your direction can meet the need. In recognizing my own failures and inadequacies, I can run to You, the only Source able to do what no natural or earthly source can do. Your kind, gentle love comforts me.

(JEHOVAH TSIDKENU - RIGHTEOUSNESS - Jeremiah 23:6, Psalm 11:7) - In dark hours of judgment and failure You provide for me a Righteous Branch and a new heart. When others fail or there are those who bring false words or leaders betray, You attend to those who have brought hurt or damage and You gather Your people, bring them back and cause them to be fruitful. You are the One who raises up the truth and exposes the lies. You take away fear and bring safety and security in the midst of dark hours. Thank you for your loving kindness.

(JEHOVAH RAAH - SHEPHERD - Psalms 23:1) - When I am in need of constant care, when I have gone the wrong way and am unaware of the dangers ahead, I fall prey to the enemy and I am defenseless. You are the One who takes care of me and leads me to the right path. You are the One Who looks out after my welfare and Who lays down Your life for me. I can rest knowing that you lead me, provide for me, and bring safety, restoration, comfort, vindication and anointing. In my poverty of spirit I see my need for you. You watch over me and bring me through the valley of distress reshaping my character to be more like you. Thank you for your gentleness and love.

(JEHOVAH SHAMMAH - THE LORD WHO IS THERE - Ezekiel 48:35) - When it seems there is no hope when I have lost sight or lost my will to fight. When I have lost sight of the vision or the future and the purpose of my life or I have been taken captive to the things of this world to the point that I am blinded to future hope, You are my assurance. You are the hope I look to when the King of Kings and Lord of Lords will rule and reign. You are the One who will be “there” for You are in and out of Zion. You are my hope and steadfast loving Father. Thank you for your patience and kindness.

JEHOVAH QUANNA-JEALOUS - Exodus 34:14) - Because of Who You are and the essence of Your nature and character, You are a jealous God. You do not want us to worship or serve any other gods, but you and you alone. Your name is Jealous, and you are the one and only true God.

Jehovah God, You defend me, watch over me and protect me. You put my enemies under my feet. My Jehovah God, You are all powerful and creative. You are a Covenant making and keeping God. You are faithful to Your Word and you keep bountiful promises to me, your child. You are my Holy God, my rock, allowing me to know and understand you through Your Word and deeds. You are a God of knowledge and wisdom.

Jehovah God, my righteous God, You are all sufficient. You nourish and sustain me like a child, giving me Your strength. Holy beyond comprehension, You invite me to come into rest under the shadow of Your wing.

You are peace, wholeness and completeness, the Lord of Hosts, the One who leads Your people into battle and victory! Your Holy Spirit empowers me, guides me, comforts me and teaches me. You are a mysterious well, a saving power, an ancient Holy One, the breath of my life. You knew me before the beginning of time. I am the apple of Your eye! Thank you Lord.

You are a Master Craftsman, a compassionate source of life-giving bread. As a Master Artisan, you create majestic beauty and variety out of nothingness. You love me just as I am and this overwhelms me. Your greatest gift to me is boundless, compassionate love and kindness that flows toward me as a constant rushing stream. You are my shield and deliverer, and the strength of my life.

You are the God of the heavens, the God of Israel, also the God of glory, respect and honor. You are truth, the God of compassion, my Great Physician, the one who heals me of disease and mental un-ease. Thank You Father God.

As I worship You, You meet me individually in intimate relationship bestowing bountiful blessings on me. This is the desire of Your heart, what You created me for. When I ignore You or don’t spend time getting to know You through Your Word and prayer this breaks Your heart. You are joyful. When I present a long sad face, this grieves You. You desire that I laugh and be joyful with You for after all I am Your blessed and honored child.

You are the All Mighty God, God of all might and power, yet gentle and nurturing. You are the Blessed One, the Holy One, the Lord of Hosts, the Greatest there is....Your Majesty my God! How blessed I am that You are my loving, compassionate, kind and merciful Father! Thank You Father, God.
